Research Attorney The Judicial Administrator's Office of the Louisiana Supreme Court is currently seeking a Research Attorney under the direction of the General Counsel.
This position will handle general legal research, writing, contract review & other projects as assigned by the General Counsel or Judicial Administrator.
Requirements include the ability to analyze complex, unusual problems, develop creative solutions and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
Must be able to draft written communications and make presentations to all levels of the organization.
Must be a strong team player with the ability to multi-task and work effectively with judges, other attorneys, court officials and staff.
Excellent, self-sufficient computer skills including all Microsoft applications required.
The ideal candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree plus a minimum of 5 years legal experience.
Experience drafting and reviewing contracts is a plus.
Must be a current member, in good standing with the Louisiana BAR Association.
